Working where energy systems meet climate policy and development practice.
I'm Ashutosh Dev — a researcher and development practitioner producing the evidence that energy-transition finance and policy depend on: peer-reviewed research, carbon-market MRV analysis, and field-verified impact assessment across South Asia and the Pacific.
Recent work includes a national-scope MRV gap analysis for Nepal's carbon pricing framework, a field impact assessment of electric cooking across 1,000+ rural households, and district-level energy-vulnerability mapping of the Hindu Kush Himalaya from ICIMOD survey data. I'm currently an MSc Renewable Energy Systems candidate at Victoria University of Wellington on a New Zealand Government scholarship.
